1. RAJWADA

Rajwada is subdivided into two major parts. One part of it is a temple and another part is a grand palace. Built by the Holkars of Maratha Dynasty, the Rajwada palace is a 7-storied structure situated in proximity to the Chhatris. The lush green garden at its entrance leaves the visitors mesmerized by its splendor.  Due to its historical importance and picturesque offerings, it is a prominent name among all the Indore tourist places.
 

2. LALBAGH PALACE

Hugely influenced by the European style of architecture, be prepared to be bowled over by grand Italian columns, gorgeous chandeliers, rich Persian carpets and exquisite stained glass windows. A noteworthy feature is the use of elevators in those times to deliver food to the dining halls, a living testimony to the grand lifestyle of the Holkars in many of the Indore tourist places.
 

3. KHAJRANA GANESH TEMPLE

Highly revered by the local population, this beautiful Ganesh temple was built by the benevolent queen Ahilyabai Holkar. It is said that she has built this powerful shrine to protect the idol of Lord Ganesh from the wrath of Aurangzeb. With a towering Ganesha statue and smaller temples dedicated to other deities, the beautiful and well-maintained temple complex exudes an aura of serenity and spirituality.
 

4. CENTRAL MUSEUM

Central Museum, also known as the Indore Museum, is a treasure trove of artifacts and relics belonging to the bygone eras. Some of these artifacts even date back to the pre-historic ages. Established in 1929, it counts among the three main museums in Indore. Among the major exhibits of this museum are stone sculptures, coins, scriptures, arms and armors, and other historical relics. The museum boasts of a few canons that were used by Mughal emperors like Babar, Humayun, and Jehangir.
 

5. SHELL CITY WATER PARK

When it’s about enjoying a day filled with fun and frolic, the Shell City Water Park is your best bet. This park has some of the most exciting slides and rides to keep you busy for the day. Attractions like Body Zorb, Splash Pool, Zipline, Giant Wheel and many others make it one of the must-visit fun places in Indore. 
 

6. TINCHA WATERFALL

Tincha Fall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls near Indore. The water drops from a height of about 300 feet and is a season waterfall. From a distance, the waterfall appears like streams of milk rushing down the mountainside. The falls also have a small pond near the foot of the falls. You might not be able to go in the plunge pool because of government restrictions, but you can still get pleasure from trekking and photography at this place.
