1. DULHADEV TEMPLE

Built in the year 1130 the Dulhadev Temple enshrines a beautiful shivalingam and striking sculptures of Apsaras and other ornamented figures. The temple also has a stunning sculpture of Lord Shiva with his wife Parvati, the intricate details of the carvings adding to the charm of the overall architecture.


2. KANDARIYA MAHADEVA TEMPLE

Decidedly the grandest Hindu temple among the Khajuraho Group of Temples, the origin of Kandariya Mahadev Temple traces back to 1050 BC. The temple was built as a tribute to the Hindu Lord Shiva and houses a magnificent Shiva Linga crafted with pure marble.
 

3. LAKSHMANA TEMPLE

One of the oldest structures amongst the temple groups of Khajuraho, Lakshmana Temple was built by the Chandela kings. The divine trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva graces the entrance of the temple, though the temple is really dedicated to the Hindu Lord Vishnu, and harbours a portrayal of Vaikuntha-Vishnu as its sanctum.  The exceptional architecture is enhanced by over 600 deities whose images are aesthetically showcased on the exteriors of the temple.
One of the prime tourist places in Khajuraho, Lakshmana temple was built by the Chandela rulers and is one of the most important and oldest temples of the area. The temple was dedicated to Lord Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwar, and you will be able to view their statues at the entrance of the temple. Though Lord Vishnu adorns the Garbagriha or the interior of the temple. 
 

4. PANNA NATIONAL PARK

Panna National Park houses numerous wildlife species and it is ranked amongst the famous Tiger Reserves in India. Apart from tigers, you could spot leopard, hyena, wolf and many other wild creatures. Though no jeep safari is available, you are allowed to rent your jeep to make your travel round the park comfortable. Boat rides and elephant safaris are made available for visitors. River Ken adds beauty to the already stunning forest. 
 

5. RANEH FALLS

Raneh Falls is located some 20 km away from Khajuraho. The rock formations here are stunning. Nature lovers simply adore the place as the falls is situated in a picturesque setting surrounded by beautiful forests. The place should be visited during rainy season to enjoy the wonderful sight it has to offer with millions of waterfalls in various sizes gushing through the rocks.
