The Ultimate 2 Days In Lucknow Itinerary

Lucknow – the city of Nawab’s, is known for its tehzeeb, or in other words, its rich culture. 

Day 1:

9:00 AM - Start your day by visiting Janeshwar Mishra Park. It is one of the largest parks in Asia and has various attractions like musical fountains, boating, cycling, and jogging tracks.

11:30 AM - After spending a few hours at the park, head towards Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden. It is located around 10 km from the park and will take approximately 30 minutes to reach.

1:00 PM - For lunch, head to Tunday Kababi which is a famous restaurant in Lucknow known for its delicious kebabs and biryanis.

2:30 PM - After lunch, visit the Rumi Darwaza which is a magnificent gateway that was built during the reign of Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. It is one of the most iconic landmarks in Lucknow and is a must-visit for all tourists.

4:00 PM - Next, head to the British Residency which is a historic site that played a significant role in the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The ruins of the residency are now a popular tourist attraction and offer a glimpse into the city's colonial past.

6:00 PM - End your day by visiting Hazratganj which is a popular shopping district in Lucknow. You can shop for traditional Lucknowi chikankari clothes, jewelry, and handicrafts here.
