India International Trade Fair (IITF) is undoubtedly one of the most awaited and joyful business events in India. It is organized by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), which is a nodal business promotion agency of the Government of India.

The fair is organized from 14-27 th November every year at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. It includes products from both B2B and B2C categories. It is one of the largest trade events in the world in regard to  visitors and exhibitors. In fact, it has become an iconic event in the national capital over a period of time.

People desperately wait for the same for many weeks before the event. For both startups and established players, IITF provides an overwhelming opportunity to give unmatched exposure to their offerings.

In recent times, the GOI’s “Make in India” programme has brought in a whopping number of participants from both domestic and global markets to lend great exposure to their offerings. Inspired by India’s achievement of gaining up to 63rd rank on the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index from 142nd rank in 2014, the fair theme has hence been set up for the 39th edition of India International Trade Fair 2019.

This year, the fair will act as a convergence point for public agencies, private sector enterprises and non- government institutions which have associated their activities with the country’s development objectives. The most exhilarating thing about this trade exhibition is that it offers an equal opportunity for large corporations, MSMEs, non-government agencies, artisans, self-help groups (SHGs) to market their products and services to a very huge sample of possible customers.

Also, a large number of countries including Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Britain, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam are set to take part in the event and will exhibit their cultural products. The history of IITF is thoroughly intertwined with India’s fight for socio-economic enablement and industrialization and its advent as one of the most fastest growing and dominant global economies.
