Chennai gets almost 15 percent of the influx of foreign patients while Kerala manages around 5 percent to 7 percent.
According to the latest report, India welcomes nearly 5 lakh medical value travelers every year from various source countries. Major markets for India are the South-East Asian nations, the Middle-East, Africa and SAARC countries. Over 50 percent of medical travelers coming into India are from Bangladesh.
