Brief About Restaurant
Izumi’s Assagao outpost opened in 2022 with expansive indoor-outdoor seating and a bar programme curated by Arijit Bose and Pankaj Balachandran of Countertop. The greatest hits from the Mumbai menu feature on the Goa menu, along with a separate yakitori bar for tenderloin, chicken wings, charred Napa cabbage and chicken tsukune. The design follows the aesthetic of their Bandra outpost, with a shibori pattern behind the sushi bar and Japanese-inspired artworks on the walls.
